These telescoping BBQ skewers are great for kids and adults alike. In the 'olden' days we used to sharpen a stick with our handy pocket knife, jab our meat or marshmallows to the end and roast away. Finally, someone applied some thought to this tradition and decided that sticking wood (of unknown origin) into a fire to cook fire probably is the not the best idea, and it's not very safe for kids. Thankfully these skewers extend far enough out that you can safely sit back and roast whatever your heart desires. Better yet is that they shrink down into a fraction of their fully extended length which is great for packing away in your RV or travel trailer.
